About to be HobbyFarmers

Hi all, my name is Ron and my wife is Tracy. We are purchasing our new lifestyle farm in a place called Humbug Scrub, SA. 19.5 Acres. 5 acres around the home is cleared and the rest is lovely native bush. Tracy and I are making this move from suburbia to improve our lifestyle and set up a place for future retirement or semi-retirement. The farm has a grove of macadamias and olives, abundant fruit trees and small veggie garden. We both work full time at the moment but I love the idea of slowly reducing our days working in a regular job and spending more time on the farm. In the distant future, I would like us to be self sufficient in food and perhaps make some money from any excess we have and possibly some income from a Bed&Breakfast farmstay. The farm I believe is suitable for small stock ie sheep/goats/chickens but time will tell. I am probably going to ask alot of basic questions on this site as I am a novice but I hope with experience to give back where I can.
