Where to get advice on what we have and how to manage it?

We have recently made the move to the country on a beautiful 5 acre block in West Gippsland. We have no experience of farming but have a gardening background. We are yet to experience a winter here but are really keen to get on top of a couple of issues before we do. We know that a lot of water moves across the block as there are open easements through the property and severe pugging in the paddocks. We are desperate to improve the state of the paddocks and work with what we have in a more effective way rather than fighting against it. Who is the right type of person to consult with us on the best way to manage the water issues and to improve the pastures? We are very interested in finding an integrated approach that will allow us to work with nature, not against it.

Thanks in anticipation!

Hi Miranda and Trevor,

If you have a look at the top of this page you will see a ConsultingTab. If you click on the tab it will open a page showing the options available regarding consultants, soil testing and so on. You can either use the phone number listed or fill out the email enquiry form. One of the friendly consultants will get back to you re your enquiry.

cheers,

Barb
