Price of farm land near captains flat

Dear all, 

If any body has an idea, what should be price of  230 acre should be in captain flate to offer to the farm owner. 

 

Second, what grass should be the best ain fr cattle grazing in captain flat close to Canberra. 

 

If we enhance/ improve pasture what meausers should we take. 

 

How much it cost to imrove a pasture.

Hi,

Regarding the farm valuation, this is very difficult to answer without a lot more information. Things like water resources, home and sheds, fencing, pastures, fertiliser history, other farm infrastructure will all add or deduct from the over all farm value. I would contact a local valuer who will look at comparable farm sales and be able to advise on a firm valuation.

 
Before starting a pasture program you should undertake a soil test and have a good understanding of the soil structure and nutrient levels as this will largely influence the type of pasture that will be able to be grown.
