Hi everyone, it's s nice to be finally able to join this site! My husband and I have finally purchased our dream block of land; just under 600 acres in the North Burnett region of Queensland. We currently both live and work in Brisbane, about a 4 hour drive from the property, but we have lots of family up there who can check in on it for us while we're away. We're working hard to relocate closer to the property, and will both have off-site incomes so that the property remains a quality of life block rather than a commercial enterprise. My husband is a cattle man, and I have plans to grow whatever fruit and vegetables the soil and climate will allow. I'm looking forward to chatting with everyone on here and learning from the collective wisdom of others who are on a similar journey.
