Native Grasses Identification Poster

EverGraze is developing and testing new farming systems in different environments across the high rainfall zone of southern Australia. The target is to increase profits of sheep and cattle enterprises by up to 50% and at the same time improve water management, use of perennials, biodiversity and soil health.

The Evergraze group has developed through the More Livestock from Perennial Pastures project a poster identifying common native grass species found in New South Wales and Victoria. By correctly identifying native perennial grass species, small and large farmers a-like can implement sustainable management practices to increase their benefits.

The poster is available for download by clicking here, or a hard copy can be obtained by contacting Lachlan Rowling, Industry and Investment NSW, lachlan.rowling@industry.nsw.gov.auor (02) 6763 1166.
