Buying a new property

Hi all,

my wife and I have bitten the bullet and bought 10 acres in Rainbow Flat, NSW. Looking for resources to work out how to best manage the land. I already have plans to redo the landscaping (I'm a keen gardener, and have built my previous two landscapes). The land is very arable, with a watercourse running through it, sheep, goats, chickens and great fruits and nut trees planted. The seller is leaving farm equipment including kubota tractor and zero turn mower, attachments, chippers, post hole diggers, etc.

This site is a great start, but also looking for direct connections and advice, particularly about pasture and stock management.

Local Land Services Hunter Region is a good place to start.
