You can use Geese, but they can be very selective of what they eat,   Might I suggest that you get a pr of young goat wethers, you will have no breeding problems they will become adorable pets and will do a magnificent job of clearing up your weeds  But make sure they are dehorned, and neutered properly. marj.

I have had geese and find them thoroughly entertaining. I hear they are good for fox control also. There is a dark side: they are very proficient producers of fertiliser everywhere they go, and they will foul dams badly. They will destroy your garden. They will use the edge of your pool to break snail shells, dropping many snails in your pool in the process. They are the best alarm system you will ever get. I thoroughly recommend them if you can live with the other stuff. I can not attest to their weed control proficiency, but I do plan on getting some myself soon, so perhaps we will find out together if they are the organic weed control masters we hope for.
