Farming lavender

Hi All

I want to start a lavender farm in the town of bright and was wondering what outlay was involved, including machinery and what return i could get?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum great to have you as part of the small farming community.

The successful lavender farms all value add their products, incorporate agri-tourisnm into the business and sell direct to consumers. There is an excellent article on the website written by Clive Larkman about starting a lavender farm. It can be found here:
