Nectarine, Plum Tree and Crab Apple Ailments

I have a few problems with a few of my fruit trees at the moment and joined up to see if anyone on this forum has the answers. The leaves of my Goldmine Nectarine are going red and have growths on them, the outsides of the Santa Rosa Plum leaves are going brown and curling and the Crab Apple and another Plum Tree have red spots on them. Can anybody assist in what I should treat them with?

Thanks

Hi Aidhan, in my experience this problem could be due to a fungus often spread by aphids. The treatment is usually to spray with a fungicide suitable for the species of trees. I would take some samples of the diseased leaves and fruit to a local nursery for identification. They will be able to identify the fungus and advise you on the best treatment for the condition. A word of caution, put your samples into a clear plastic clip lock bags sealed tight before taking them to the nursery because if you don't, the nursery won't appreciate you bringing a fungus onsite which might contaminate their stock. hope this helps. regards, Barb
