Pregnancy Scanning

Hi,

 

 I have a small beef operation and looking to work it out how much would cost me to pregnancy test my cattle by scanner?

Hi mark,
Cost of scanning to preg test cattle will depend on a number of things. Primarily the location of your mob and how many head you want to test.
I would suggest that manual preg testing would be a more viable option. This is usually carried out by a local large animal very and is charged either by the hour or per head depending on size of the mob and location.
I would suggest contacting you local vet and have a chat to them. They will either give you a rough price on manual testing or out you in contact with a scanning contractor that services your area.

Hi Mark welcome I used a vet on 26 cows cost me over $500.

Do it yourself with this kit its what i will do next time.
