Meat rabbits

I'm trying to find a place to buy meat rabbits.
I'm espescially keen on rex rabbits (for fur and meat)
Can you help me?  I live in Bairnsdale, VIC

Hi nree2210,

The commercial rabbit industry is very much dead. Most producers have either gone broke or moved out of the industry. The calicivirus made it very difficult to breed rabbits as the require and expense vaccination to protect them againt the virus. This along with the targetting of legitimate farms by animal rights groups has largely put a stop to the industry.
