Hi Everyone,

My partner and I will be making the move from Sydney to either Northern NSW or country Victoria this year. We are looking at buying a small property in the vicinity of 10-15 acres. We will buy a property with separate self contained accomodation for family and friends to come visit. We are considering setting up a Farm Stay business as well. I am seeking advice from others who have done this. We will own the property outright as well as an investment property that generates a modest income. My partner will continue to work part time so i will be the primary operator of the Farm Stay. Although I have an extensive background in the Retail and Hospitality industries I not lived on acreage before, (my wife did grow up on a Dairy Farm though). Any thoughts and advice would be very much appreciated Cheers all, Simon.
