I am in the market for a rotary hoe/tiller and a deep ripper/subsoiler, so many places call them by different names it seems. I have found a few but don't know what brands are any good.

Hi reeen4, we bought a 3series John Deere tractor a couple of years ago and have used Hayes implements without any major problems. (Flail mower, post hole digger and loader) they are based in Packenham Victoria.

So many brands it is not funny. I buy a lot of the older Aussie steel stuff, a lot of the Chinese stuff is rubbish, but I do buy some of them too for light duty stuff. You need to match with your tractor & generally do not use items made for 20hp tractor on a 40, or 60 etc, I would use a 60ho rated item on a 20 though as long as not too heavy. You wont buy anything with good steel made in Aus or the US that is the price of the Chinese junk, so you really need to know what your doing and talk to some others,
