Olive newbies
Hi, just thought I would introduce myself.
My wife and I have recently purchased a small olive grove of about 240 kalamata olive trees in Two wells south Australia.
Having never had anything to do with olives before this has been a big learning curve I am currently in the middle of our first harvest. Only a small portion or our trees have produced this season and the olives are quite small, I'm thinking that could be because I don't think the have been pruned, fertilised or had regular water for some time?? We're hoping next season will be more productive. We are currently building a new house on the property and are planning on getting some chickens and a few sheep once we move in. Any tips and advice for a newbie would be greatly appreciated.
