ivermectin and yabbies

Hi. i've had a hunt around for info but can’t find anything with a suitable answer. I’ve drenched my 20 lowline cows and bull with ivermectin pour on. How long before its safe for them to drink from the dam without risking killing life in the dam.( ie yabbies. ). I can find heaps of info that tells me its toxic. But nothing that says a timeframe to exclude access to treated cattle. Any info or experiences appreciated.
Thanks
Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the question. I'm actually not 100% sure of the answer but assume it would be the same as for other withholding periods, so i have shared your question with our Facebook discussion group which has over 5,000 members.

My neighbor once did this and said that everything was okay with him and that he read the information that this thing is not toxic and everything is okay with it for cows and bulls
