Royal Agriculture Show 2010, 2014 Award winning Sydney Rock oysters from the Macleay River at South West Rocks.

We are dedicated and take pride in producing premium quality oysters, trying to set a standard of oyster cultivation and reducing impact on the environment. Oysters are grown without the need to supply processed feed, so feed of naturally occurring feed source, however monitoring of their environment and the location that they are kept is important for the health of the animal as with any type of farming.

Our customers are local, travel from around the state and country and some international tourist. Most people enjoy the interaction and learn a bit about how we grow oysters from start to the final destination. It is a mutual enjoyment when customers visit annually or periodically, provides a sense of community, people remembering us and us remembering of new friends.

Most people are surprised to learn that the oysters take approximately 2.5-3 years to reach a marketable size, although they can be eaten at an earlier age. Majority of customers love to eat oysters raw and seek them unshucked , whole in the shell, although some love them cooked various ways.
