Olive oil processing

Olive processing. After I have crushed the olives I want to use a centrifuge instead of cold press. I have a DHC 250 disc separator, 3 stage centrifuge, that I am having issues getting set up. Has anyone got a similar machine and has expertise in the installation of this type of separator? Stan

"Cold pressed" just means that the olive paste has been kept at <30°C during the crushing and malaxing (stirring) stages, so you can get cold pressed from centrifuged oil, that's what our machine does. However, our machine is an "all-in-one" model with the crusher, malaxer and 2-phase horizontal centrifuge. Can you also please provide some clarification on the installation issue you are experiencing? Is it related to the electrical installation of the centrifuge? Are you having trouble getting the physical settings on the centrifuge correct so that it separates effectively? Does your processing set up include a malaxer stage, Stan?
