Just curious if there is a website which details rain shadows ?

Hi Kim,

For those who don't know what a rain shadow is, it is an area of dry land that lies on the downwind side of a mountain.

Have you tried either weatherzone or BOM to see if they have any information on rain shadows?

If you don't have any luck with these, a local farmer in the area is bound to know if and where a rain shadow exists.

G'day Charlie,

I tried the BOM site and weatherzone, thanks for the heads up on those, they have answered the question but have spurred me on to try and analyse the rain a bit more ..
