Hi all,  I've just found this forum and I'm hoping it can be of use.  As the owner of a bunch of chooks and (almost) 2 Dexters I need some info that is tailored to the teeny tiny end of the farm scale.   :)

We have 4 acres of pasture (ex-dairy) with a dam and have been wanting to get some little cows to eat the grass a bit for ages.  It looks like the opportunity has arrived and we are about to get 2 Dexter steers.  I'm off to post my first question in the Help section.  Thanks in advance to anyone to answer and to all those who have shared their story on here - it's all such helpful info.
