Farmstyle Australia was proud sponsors of the Berry small farm field day held at the beautiful Berry show-grounds in Berry NSW last month on September 8 and 9th. Organised by the Rotary Club of Berry-Gerringong, it had been 5 years since a previous small farm field days had been held at Berry.
Berry turned on beautiful spring weather and the show was rewarded with a good attendance of almost 2000 (plus children) over the two days. Strongly supported by 90 exhibitors, the event had a good display of the latest farming equipment, machinery and supplies as well as everything you could want for your farm – trees, water tanks, solar solutions as well as fashion parades, jewellery, entertainment, demonstrations and good old-fashioned country fun.
Exhibitors included representation from the local Southern Rivers Catchment Management Authority, the NSW DPI and the local dairy co-operative - South Coast Dairy Farmers.
Given Berry's central location which is handy to the Sydney Basin, Illawarra coastal region, and adjacent Southern Highlands , all areas that have a very high small farming presence, the field days look like they will enjoy a strong future.
For anyone yet to visit Berry, the field days will provide an opportunity to experience one of the most picturesque and friendly small towns to be found in Australia.
