Coming across a very big 'Red Belly Black Snake' looking for rats in my poultry yard...he/she caught one, came out of the hole, went in the sun and preceded to eat the rat. He/she slithered between my chickens and ducks (they didn't seem to worry) and then went back in the hole to digest its feed. Other than this event, I have many memorable moments just observing and enjoying my animals and the land, this is a very productive, fertile little farm anything I put in the ground grows very well and all my stock grow well and each year I have many babies from chickens to ducks, calves and alpacas. I just love this place!
