G'day from Murrumbateman
G'day Team,
Jolls here. New to farming; just purchased 7 acres with 12 chooks and a small orchard. Was used by the previous owner for horses; looking to introduce small cattle - Galloways probably (not that I have found any for sale yet). Looking forward to learning from the wisdom of others as opposed to gaining experince by mistakes wherever possible. I do have a plan B if farming proves to be too hard: at least now I have a big enough shed to restore my classic bikes!
Cheers and Beers

Hi Jolls, Welcome to Farmstyle, great to have you on-board and as one of the first members to list on 'visit my farm'. We are all here to learn from each other, farming can be a tough yet very rewarding game. A helping hand along the way can make all the difference.

Great to meet you Jolls. We are in Yass and have been living on our farm for a while now. There are quite a few Galloway breeders in Murrumbateman, when we were thinking about purchasing Galloways, we came across Honey Pot, the couple there very friendly. We decided to go with Dexters though as they are a small cow rather then a minature breed.
Farming is hard work, but the rewards are well worth it.
