Australia's best birds flock to Sydney - National poultry show 10-12th June

Sydney Showground will host Australia's largest poultry show on the Queen's Birthday weekend, 10 - 12 June 2016. Covering three exhibition halls, a highlight of the event will be the judging of 5,500 poultry exhibits from all over Australia. See rare breeds like the Transylvanian Naked Necks, Shamo, Sumatra, and Yokohama. With 450 poultry breeders on hand and over 20 exhibitors selling equipment, incubators, feeders and merchandise, the National Poultry Show will be a great place to find out more about keeping and caring for chooks in your own backyard.

There is also a Caged Bird display with Parrots, Budgerigars, Canaries, Finches and African Lovebirds on show. Families can also tap into educational and DIY sessions, see chicks hatch in an incubator and get hands on with a pat-a-chicken display.
