Agisting cattle - prices and expectations

Hi all!

I'm a new member and am happy to be here with so many other farmers of different experience levels - what a great idea!

I'm with a new land management company that's looking to start agisting cattle on properties around Queensland and was wondering what the going rate is, and what the corresponding expectation is - ie, if you're in a drought-stricken area and are just looking for someplace else to keep your cattle alive until the first rainfall, you won't be paying as much as someone who's looking to background steers, or to fatten up or grass-finish cattle and send them straight to the meatworks. As a company we'd ideally like to have properties for each purpose, and are wondering how much is too much to charge, and what price is seen as just giving it away. Also, any tips on what people generally expect to see on a property for each purpose would be more than welcome.

Thanks for reading and I look forward to your answers!
